As an Inside Sales Rep you will focus on the entire sales cycle, from cold calling to customer support. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and support existing customers within an assigned territory, as well as prospect and close new business. To be successful, youll need a strong work ethic, a self-assured winning attitude and excellent time management skills. Additional details are below.
Responsibilities:
Maintain, grow, and support assigned customers by developing and building excellent relationships
Prospect for new business by initiating outbound sales calls
Respond to sales inquiries via email, web and other lead sources
Qualify leads, follow up on quotes, convert quotes to orders
Know the competition, obtain competitive info, and perform postmortem analysis on all lost business
Provide customers with product samples, prototypes, literature and technical support
Ensure compliance with customer requirements regarding price, quality, specifications, and delivery
Work closely with customer service to ensure timely response and issue resolution
Work closely with Manufacturing, Front Office, and Supply Chain to ensure customer satisfaction
Continuously educate self and maintain superior knowledge of Willington products and procedures
Occasionally visit customers, attend trade shows, participate in workshops and seminars
Qualifications:
3 years prior Inside Sales experience, manufacturing environment preferred
Self motivation, strong sales drive, and a passion for exceeding goals
Demonstrated success in closing new business
Good knowledge of MS Word and Excel, internet, email, Google, PowerPoint
Experience reading blueprints and familiarity with technical details
CRM and contact database experience, ACT preferred
Working knowledge of MRP systems and ability to cut through multi-layered complex office procedures
Demonstrated success working in a team environment, as well as able to work independently
Two year college degree, Bachelors Degree preferred
Excellent attention to detail, excellent ability to follow up and leave no sales opportunity open
Strong moral character, strong work ethic, excellent self-assured attitude, highly flexible, reliable
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent telephone personality, outgoing, generally positive outlook, good-natured and happy
Well organized, sense of commitment, sense of urgency, adaptable to change
