Reports to: Department Lead
Summary: Assigned to the Fabrication Department and responsible for performing all Fabrication Support responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- To maintain the highest quality standards and the right to stop production of any job if those quality standards are not met
- Willing to assist in any and all areas within the company on an “as needed” basis
- Learn all aspects of shearing, kick press, and laminating under the direction of department lead
- Assist with special projects
- Support shear operators
- Deburr parts as required
- Perform basic maintenance procedures on whatever machine assigned during given shift
Level 1 Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Basic blueprint comprehension
- Communicates effectively both written and verbally
- Ability to perform and complete assigned tasks within a specified time frame
- Detail oriented
- Basic math skills
Level 2 Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. (Includes all qualifications from previous level)
- Advanced blueprint comprehension
- Programs and efficiently operates all Spartanic shear machines
- Applies protective paper via the laminating machine
Level 3 Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. (Includes all qualifications from previous level)
- Performs all operations on manual and auto shear
- Performs preventative maintenance on equipment within the department
- Able to setup and run all adhesives on the laminating machine
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma, GED

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
