The Syracuse Chiefs Take On New Name for One Night Only – The Devices

The Devices gets its name from the Brannock Device. The Brannock Device helps you measure your foot and was invented in Syracuse. The first prototype was built using an Erector set. World War II was the birth of its manufacturing with the Army using the device to properly fit enlisted men’s boots and shoes.
