Reports to: Business Development Leader
Summary: This position will be responsible for outbound sales calls, pipeline management, pipeline development, and for generating and qualifying leads.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- To maintain the highest quality standards and the right to stop production of any job if those quality standards are not met
- Willing to assist in any and all areas within the company on an “as needed” basis
- Customer touches – Phone, Email, Letter
- Identify new business opportunities
- Track customer interaction using ACT CRM
- Lead generation and prospect qualification
- Develop pricing models for specific customers or industries
- Research markets/industries for “fit” to core business
- Analyze customer buying behaviors and look for trends
- Match up the appropriate marketing collateral for each prospect
- Collect required technical information to support the estimating team
- Obtain competitive information and document findings
- Perform quote follow up and analyze lost business opportunities
- Pull together sample packages and technical documentation for customers
- Occasionally visit customers, attend trade shows, participate in workshops and seminars
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Communicates effectively both written and verbally
- Technical competencies in Microsoft Office Suite
- Organized and efficient with good attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing capabilities
Education/Experience:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of Sales related experience
