A Tribute to Donna Campagna (1964–2025)
The Willington Nameplate family was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Donna Campagna on April 21, 2025. Donna was more than an employee; she was a cornerstone of the company, a mentor and a friend.
At just 18 years old, Donna began her journey with Willington Nameplate. Over the course of 43 years, she shaped the company’s identity through her dedication, technical expertise, and unwavering commitment to excellence. From estimator to product engineer to salesperson, Donna wore many hats, adapting with each new challenge, always with the goal of serving her colleagues and customers with clarity, precision, and heart.
She worked alongside her team to ensure every question was answered, every order was processed with care, and every client felt heard. Whether in the office or on the manufacturing floor, Donna’s ability to clarify details and offer innovative solutions made her a priceless asset to Willington Nameplate.
Beyond her professional life, Donna found joy in the outdoors—hiking and walking—and she had a passion for auto racing and hockey. Her dedication to family mirrored the warmth she brought to her workplace. Working side-by-side with her daughter, Isabella, in the customer service department, Donna cultivated a legacy built on hard work, integrity, and compassion.
Donna witnessed the evolution of the industry firsthand. From handwritten job dockets to the first desktop computer, from fax machines doubling order volumes to modern digital workflows, she led her department through all the changes. Even during challenging times, when the company faced economic struggles, Donna was among those who reached out to customers personally, ensuring that operations continued.
Her resilience, sense of humor, and determination were unmatched. She was deeply respected, as evidenced by frequent phone calls from leadership during a layoff and while recovering from surgery.
Donna’s impact extends far beyond her years at Willington Nameplate. She was more than a colleague, she was family. And while she may no longer be with us, her memory, spirit, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
Rest in peace, Donna. Your contributions will never be forgotten. ❤️
