JOB SUMMARY
Direct the activities of specific departments in regards to safety, quality, and delivery and employee development

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
:

  • To maintain the highest quality standards and the right to stop production of any job if those quality standards are not met
  • Willing to assist in any and all areas within the company on an “as needed” basis
  • Schedule and prioritize work within their department
  • Ensure a safe work environment
  • Develop and execute cross-training plans for the department
  • Develop department budgets and manage department expenses
  • Communicate department KPIs and other company communications
  • Ensure employee reviews are completed on-time and communicated thoroughly
  • Review daily timecards for accuracy
  • Provide leadership and guidance to employees
  • Maintain compliance to all company policies and procedures
  • Determine appropriate levels of compensation for employees
  • Execute and manage the CI initiatives of the department
  • Adhere to all quality requirements and perform RCCA as required
  • Determine capital equipment needs of the department
  • Responsible for the resource needs of the department, labor and equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Reads and comprehends blueprints
  • Understands customer specifications
  • Communicates effectively both written and verbally
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Possess strong leadership qualities
  • Adept at using computers, including Microsoft products

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma, GED
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 7+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
