JOB SUMMARY
Direct the activities of specific departments in regards to safety, quality, and delivery and employee development
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- To maintain the highest quality standards and the right to stop production of any job if those quality standards are not met
- Willing to assist in any and all areas within the company on an “as needed” basis
- Schedule and prioritize work within their department
- Ensure a safe work environment
- Develop and execute cross-training plans for the department
- Develop department budgets and manage department expenses
- Communicate department KPIs and other company communications
- Ensure employee reviews are completed on-time and communicated thoroughly
- Review daily timecards for accuracy
- Provide leadership and guidance to employees
- Maintain compliance to all company policies and procedures
- Determine appropriate levels of compensation for employees
- Execute and manage the CI initiatives of the department
- Adhere to all quality requirements and perform RCCA as required
- Determine capital equipment needs of the department
- Responsible for the resource needs of the department, labor and equipment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Reads and comprehends blueprints
- Understands customer specifications
- Communicates effectively both written and verbally
- Strong presentation skills
- Possess strong leadership qualities
- Adept at using computers, including Microsoft products
EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma, GED
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 7+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
