Reports to: Department Lead
Summary: This position requires a meticulous eye for detail and perfection to produce and re-make screen printing screens as well as expose them for screen printing usage
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- To maintain the highest quality standards and the right to stop production of any job if those quality standards are not met
- Willing to assist in any and all areas within the company on an “as needed” basis
- The ability to file screen films in a careful and organized manner for easy retrieval
- Maintain supply levels and order inventory when required
- Stretch and tension screens to proper specifications
- Coat screens with emulsion, both liquid and sheet, for transfer of the required image
- Expose the screen on a light table
- Rinse and touchup screen
- Apply proper marking and identification on all screens
- Ability to work unsupervised
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Read and comprehend blueprints
- Good math skills
- Communicates effectively both written and verbally
- Strong organizational skills
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma, GED
- Previous experience a plus
Physical Demands (reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties):
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Long periods of time standing
- Ability to work in a cool environmental
- Good vision
