Reports to: Department Lead

Summary: Performs screen printing process using basic sheet fed screen printing equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To maintain the highest quality standards and the right to stop production of any job if those quality standards are not met
  • Willing to assist in any and all areas within the company on an “as needed” basis
  •  Perform routine maintenance on the press as required
  • Prioritize a daily schedule and work in an orderly manner
  • Setup and operation of a sheet fed printer
  • Screen print with our 3 main inks: ADE, SuperSet, UV
  • Cure sheets for next process using the appropriate method
  • Maintain proper inventory of supplies and order when required
  • Basic understanding of mesh types and emulsions

Level 1 Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Read and comprehends blueprints
  • Communicates effectively both written and verbally
  • Detail oriented

Level 2 Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. (Includes all qualifications from previous level)

  • Familiar with the majority of work that moves through the screen printing department
  • Two to three years of screen printing experience
  • Able to troubleshoot basic printing and press issues
  • Color match inks to Pantone standards

Level 3 Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. (Includes all qualifications from previous level)

  • Can complete all screen print jobs to WNP Quality Standards
  • Has 3-5 years of screen printing experience
  • Experienced to train others how to screen print
  • Go to individual that can help support and coordinate the requirements of the leads
  • Coordinates needed outside vendors or support personnel

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma, GED
  • 1 year previous screen printing experience preferred

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Constant repetitive motion involved
  • Long periods of time standing
