Summary: Responsible for the washing and emulsion application to reclaim printing screens
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- To maintain the highest quality standards and the right to stop production of any job if those quality standards are not met
- Willing to assist in any and all areas within the company on an “as needed” basis
- Provide the screen maker with clean usable screens in a timely manner
- Assist the screen maker in assembling screens if required to do so
- Ability to use a high powered power washer
- Apply the appropriate cleaning detergents based on the types of inks used
- Maintain an organized work area, including limiting the amount of water on the floor
- Monitor supply levels for the department
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Detail oriented
- Solid communication skills
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma, GED
- Entry level position requiring no previous experience
Physical Demands (reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties):
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Long periods of time standing
- Ability to withstand loud noise (OSHA approved hearing protection provided)
- Ability to work in a damp environment
