Brett leads by example. Having pivoted from finance to manufacturing, Brett has grown via numerous operational roles and having spent considerable time on the factory floor for many years before rising to his current position as president. He’s passionate about his work, is a firm believer in continuous improvement (starting with himself), and maintains WNP’s founding values: quality, integrity and transparency.
President since 2015, Brett is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company; but he’d much prefer to be called Head Coach. As such, Brett regularly coaches team members on how daily actions can mean the difference between success and failure—and sometimes between life and death—for the people who depend on our nameplates. These talks occur in a variety of different environments and employees are left inspired or motivated to improve. Quarterly, Brett goes over the KPIs and transparently discusses highs and lows. Since WNP became an ESOP in 2023, it is the collective understanding that the success of the company resides with its stakeholders.
Brett believes in creating a positive, healthy culture where people enjoy coming to work, do their best for personal integrity as well as the interconnectedness of each member of the team to the end product: Customer Satisfaction. Growing leaders and empowering employees is what Brett is hoping will be the result of his efforts.
