Summer Fun: Field Day 2025 at the Plate!
On Friday, September 26th Willington Nameplate enjoyed a fun-in-the-sun Field Day to wrap up the summer together!
In its fourth year, WNP hosted the team once again at the Stafford Springs American Legion pavilion for a day of games, fun, and a deluxe pizza truck!
Old World Pizza Truck fired up its wood stove and created over 30 unique pizzas, ranging from classic cheese and pepperoni to spaghetti-and-meatball pizza, broccoli rabe & sausage, BBQ chicken, and fresh blueberry varieties, as well as ribeye and truffle-topped options. Everyone enjoyed multiple slices and expanded their palates to try out unique toppings! As if that wasn’t enough, gelato and cappuccinos rounded out the meal that was truly enjoyed by all!
Teams competed for Life-Size Jenga champion and Corn-Hole King/Queen! The weather was sunny and warm, which was perfect for the little ones to enjoy water balloons and super soakers! Some tossed frisbees and others played cards. It was a great, relaxed time to hang out together. The only question is, “How do we top this next year?”
