Specifications
A print cylinder is inked using a series of rollers and an ink well down the line of the flexo press. The ink is transferred from a flexible water-based photopolymer plate to the substrate. The process is mainly used for rolled labels, but labels can be cut into individual cards as well. There are no limits to the type of inks used on the press. It can print 4C process, solid pantones, safety colors, and federal standard colors. The types of materials are endless and most UL certified labels are produced by flexography. Finishing methods include different rewind directions, laminates and rotary die cutting.
